Oh wow, I had almost forgotten how much I love the music of The Mahabharata - I hadn't listened to it in so long. Especially the last song on the CD, which also plays over the credits of each episode - Svetasvatara Upanisad, sung by Sarmila Roy. After the 10am news the radio DJ said something about "George Michael and (or?) Johnny Cash" but I missed what it was about. It probably was just a listing of a few artists they'd play that hour, as a bit later they played Johnny's version of "Won't Back Down".
